It was an impulse buy I made while impatient for the Passport to come out. By the time I got it a month later, I had already wished I didn't buy it. Then I got so busy with work and let the 10-day return period go by without sending it back, and now I have it. And I am so fickle that now I'm thinking about the Lightspeed instead! This time I'm waiting to make sure I really want it.

I was planning on going to the convention too, but then we planned our vacation, and I'll be gone during that time. I really wanted to go, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to pick Hawaii over Anaheim! LOL!

I am at the beach also, and I am struggling to stay focused today on my expedite instead of the beautiful day outside. I am having a hard time with staying in my chair. LOL!

    Hi Norma,

To best answer your question, I would have to say a bird in the hand is better than two in the field...

    Hi, Norma:

I'm not exactly sure what your question is. It sounds like you have a Stylus currently but you're considering switching to the Mira. Am I correct?
  • Susan Crivello

    Hi Norma,
You just talked me out of the Stylus. It is hard to believe your school wants their students to use the Mira. My school still believes in paper. I was going to go with the Mira, but after speaking to a few reporters and also a writer/repair person, I am going with the Fusion. You never know when technology will fail you.
I really should have my writer by now, I graduated in May, and I have been interning. I am just a big procrastinator, and the expense of the writer and the software is crazy. I have been looking for a used Fusion with the Eclipse software; it is almost impossible to find.

Good luck in your last class!
    Susan

    Norma,
I think my school is behind the times -- and I am a baby boomer -- CA has the right idea. I believe the future is paperless, and eventually they will not be producing paper writers. I really am torn between the Fusion and the Mira, but I do believe they weigh the same. The Lightspeed is not an option for me. There are not enough backups; no screen, no paper, and no audio. I see a lot of them being returned. What would you get if you did not have the Stylus?

    Susan
