has to HAFD supposed to spoeft supposed to be spoefbt supposed to go spoefgt... how's that? Ha! Those are great. They're going in my dix too! No comma these days.
I just read something over on depoman about the other RT deal you mention. Mine is StenoCast. It will work with Bridge, CaseView and LiveNote. But it's early days for you to think about yet.
I can't remember if I read that you are working full or part time while going to school. I wasn't working at all. Just being taken care of and having everything paid by my parents when I went to school. That way I was able to get my speed up to the 260 to pass the Certificate of Merit exam way back when. I took it the same month as my CA CSR and passed them both. So I know how hard it is to get those fingers going. It takes many, many hours of focused practice. I had lots of briefs too, but had my theory down so I could get the phonetics. But here's the big, big difference between now and then - one of them anyway - NO COMPUTER! So you're also working hard at learning one more aspect I didn't think about until I was out of school and working for a while!
If you are interested in having me send you a few actual wav files of some easier depos I've done, email me at jenlug@pacbell.net, and I'll see what I can get you.
Matt, I used all caps for all my transcripts for 20 years or more! Nobody said boo! When I got Eclipse, I switched to upper/lower, and none of my clients noticed! It was so much easier to produce the jobs using all caps, but it's so rare these days I switched over. Now I'm constantly checking what Morsons says regarding what to cap. Oh, well!
