    Thank you!

Hi, Lisa - I'm just checking to see if you are an official, and if you do any freelancing for out-of-state agencies in South Dakota, and if so, what do you cover?  I've switched from running all over the country to being an official court reporter (and freelancer when I have any time off).  I was an official for from 1975 to 1989 in Aberdeen, South Dakota myself, and still get requests for depos there once in awhile.  If there's a new protocol in South Dakota, I'd love to know it - when I was there, most freelancers were independent contractors, and not "married" to an agency.  How is it now?  Wishing you the BEST ... Thanks so much for the reply!  Do you have any recommendations of a straight-up independent contractor court reporter?  I'd like to refer this agency to a realtimer if possible, but very certainly someone who can do a rough draft at end of deposition!

I'm in Winfield, Kansas. For the first time in 40 years I can get in a car and visit my folks.  I'm glad to make your acquaintance!  Just in case you want to contact me anytime, here I am:  Lori@ByrdReporting.com, Office 620-221-5421, Cell 202-422-8810.  I'd like to keep in touch, if possible ...
