As far as the short time, I told a student to join who sat out with me about a month ago, and she qualified a week after joining.

You just need to listen to Mark's Speedbuilding, 1, 2, 3, and 4, and then dive in. I think it might give you the confidence boost you need.

Well, actually it makes you feel like you'll never get anything, BUT after you struggle through, you'll see your speed increase. Be devoted for these few days, and I know it will pay off.
