Hey Andrea! Welcome to CSR Nation! If you are ever in need of a competent scopist, feel free to contact me! Have a great day and I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do.
Hi Andrea,
My rates for an appeal or for court transcripts are $1.25/pg. I listen to all audio. I'd be happy to be your second team scopist. I'm not taking any work this week. Our family is actually in the middle of relocating so it's a little hectic right now. But I'm hopeful that I can start working again next week. You can also use my personal email to reach me, if you'd like. It's stacywarpool@comcast.net.
I'd like the opportunity to help you be out in the field more, instead of scoping your own files seven days a week. That will really help you bring in more money and free up time for yourself, family, and friends.
I'm a full-time scopist and I love my job. I always learn the preferences of the reporter I work with and keep a separate file on each. This allows me to provide top quality scoping services and return as near a final transcript as
possible. I’m very computer literate. I am proficient in punctuation, grammar, research, and reading steno notes.
I’m looking to establish a long-lasting reporter/scopist relationship. I am also willing to help out with overflow and expedites, as needed. My schedule is flexible and I’m very easy to work with.
I have a range depending on how fast I can do a reporter’s work. If you’d like to send me a sample job, I can give you a better idea of my rate for normal turnaround time. I charge 50% more for expedited jobs and my rate doubles for dailies. Normal turnaround time is 5-7 days, expedited turnaround time is 3-5 days and dailies are within 24-48 hours. However, if I complete a job earlier, I don’t hesitate to send it back immediately and the fee does not change because I completed it early. I usually like to see a sample of your work before quoting you a rate.
On average, for normal turnaround time, I charge:
$ 1.00/pg for files with no audio
$ 1.20/pg for audiosync work
$ 1.30/pg for taped work
$ 1.40/pg for videotaped work
Thanks and I hope to hear back from you very soon.
