You won't see the "join" button for the OC group because you already are a member of that group.  I saw it on your personal page.  As for the LA group, go to the "Cover Depos" tab and then hit on the red dot for the LA group.  Then a paywall will come up.  Here is a 49.95 fee for the LA group.  Tons of work goes out of that group.  Anyway, after you pay for the group, you can go in and hit on "Join the Group."

Thanks, Linda!  I lived in Germany for almost six years, so I'm aware of the cultural things and the electrical differences.  I also always have a passport up to date.  Most of the time I have answered an e-mail requesting a reporter for an international deposition, and those requesting agencies are usually in other states.  I think maybe I will pick up the phone and try to call the agency next time so they can at least have some contact with me.  I so appreciate your input.  Someday someone will give me my first shot! :)
