How's school going? Don't be discouraged. You're ALREADY at 160 wpm! You can see the finish line from where you're at! Rejoice in that! And continue to get on your machine EVERY DAY, BELIEVE, do your BEST, and give yourself some slack. We all get through speeds in our own pace. We all have different life circumstances, too, so try not to compare your progress with others. That's just a lose-lose situation. Instead, really make sure you're doing YOUR best... and then continue to strive to do better EVERY SINGLE DAY! I KNOW you will make it to the finish line... IF YOU DON'T GIVE UP!
Also, it's a great thing already that you've found CSR Nation and joined the Court Reporting Students group. Lots and lots of great info and encouragements there for us court reporting students.
You can also check out my blog for some info and uplifting -- stenonerd.blogspot.com. In this blog I chronicle my journey from current court reporting student to soon-to-be working reporter. Thanks in advance for checking it out! :)
I hope you have a HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! May all your dreams come true... including finishing the court reporting program and becoming a working certified shorthand reporter! WOO HOO!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!! :D
