Hey, valerie! good to hear from you! I just found out about this web site as of last week and I've been taking advantage of those distracting web games...too much! I haven't gotten any work done! All is well here, a few changes recently in my life, but I'm doing okay. I haven't made plans to attend convention this year and probably will not. I've been trying to keep up with the licensure for right now and watched the events unfold yesterday. I was all for licensure but now it's scared me a bit with the subcommittee's complete misunderstanding and lack of knowledge about the court reporting profession and their mention of our per diems and page rates. I hope it doesn't come to that, the State interfering in our salaries, but I think they were more or less trying to get a feel for how the profession works. You know how it goes, the only people who understand court reporting is court reporters! Tiff
