Specializing in proofreading transcripts for court reporters.
I strive to provide the cleanest and most accurate transcripts possible to my clients. I have a passion for words; more importantly, I have a passion for editing and spotting even the tiniest of errors on every page. My training was through the course Transcript Proofreading: Theory and Practice. I have proofread thousands of pages of transcripts, and have taken strenuous, upper-level editing courses through Oklahoma Baptist University.
I proof transcripts in PDF format, marking notations directly on the page. You will receive the corrected pages back with my notations marked in red ink and yellow highlighter.
Manuals: Morson's English Guide for Court Reporters, the Gregg Reference Manual, and Margie Wakeman Wells (Court Reporting: Bad Grammar/Good Punctuation)

Have a great week. I look forward to working with you.
Let me give you some relief or time for yourself back into your life!
How? Well, first, close your eyes and...
-Imagine not having to spend time checking over your work for the millionth time.
-Imagine being able to take a night off and sleep for the rest of the night.
-Imagine being reassured by the fact that someone is there to check over your work.
-Imagine a client consistently complimenting how high your work quality is.
Doesn't that all sound great?
To make it even better, remember that when you're working with me, you can...
-Submit your request with your transcript in five minutes…
-Receive a confirmation email from us in the next few minutes…
-Be free to do whatever you want by the tenth minute…
-Get the annotations back via PDF by day two…
-Look over it, make changes, and confirm that everything is good…
-Turn in that work without doing more...
I know that's not enough to convince you, so compare the value you would get from my proofreading service, compared to if you didn’t...
-Take only ten minutes of your time max… OR spend ten minutes dreading over your huge backlog.
-Have another pair of eyes check over your work… OR miss major mistakes, due to looking at it for too long.
-Get some sleep or take a short break… OR continue working more nights and weekends without end.
-Focus better on the new jobs… OR go about your day with exhaustion weighing you down.
Now, you’ve heard my offer… I have expressed how valuable it is to your life and time. I’ve even shown you exactly what’s going to happen when you decide to give it a chance today.
So what are you waiting for?

Frustrated? Anxious? Depressed? Questioning? Wanting to get back to work? Maybe you’ve had one or a few of these feelings since COVID came into our lives. I know I have. There seems to be a lot of “just waiting” to see what the future holds. It can be tough, but the future is as bright as the promises of God.

I’m Monica, and I want to be your next proofreader.
I am educated in the legal field with paralegal certification, and I have developed and honed skills to accurately polish your transcripts. I have learned from and completed the only online course that teaches these skills -- the skills that can meet your needs.
I return a meticulously proofread transcript that has been analyzed and worked on through the standards of Gregg Reference Manual, Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters, and Margie Wakeman’s Court Reporting: Bad Grammar/Good Punctuation text.
I have a wide availability, I do not charge extra for weekend work, and I can also be a backup proofreader for a court reporter or fellow proofreader who needs a hand with their workload.
When working with me at Reinhard Proofreading, reporters will receive:
A preference sheet
Corrected pages via email on PDF
A completed and accurate transcript on time EVERY time.

Professional proofreader, former court reporter, RPR/RMR, available for extra work. I have been proofreading for topnotch court reporters since 2002. Contact: email@example.com. Thank you!
I am an experienced proofreader with more than two decades of experience. I am of the old-fashioned variety, preferring to work from .txt (Notepad) files and providing an errata sheet of queries and corrections that is as simple as it gets. I maintain running word lists on each case and I research name spellings and industry terminology for verification/quality assurance purposes. At the present time, I am working for two awesome West Coast reporters, but their work has sadly been not sufficient to generate the steady and consistent income I need to continue working as a home-based proofreader. My desire is to work exclusively for one reporter who can keep me busy by providing steady work. Anyone who is interested in my rates and references can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Serious inquiries with immediate need please. Thank you for reading, and I look forward to working with you!

I am a Case CATalyst and PDF proofreader. I spent the last few months sharpening my skills in classes offered by Margie Wakeman Wells.
In Case CATalyst I can use Scanstops, Hidden Keys and Track Changes or whatever method you prefer to make corrections so that you are completely in control of your transcript. I use iAnnotate for PDF proofing, making annotations above your text so nothing is ever changed in your transcripts.
I have availability in my schedule. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit my website at pmtproofreading.com for details.
