yes Deb, our summer only had a few days that I would call HOT in the 90's and somewhat stifling, but, for the most part, just a 80+ temp type of summer that let me ride a lot of bike without getting overheated. My brother is in Tucson, and its cooling down a bit now that we're in October, down there, I mean.
So, do you still do your steno-type work in Az? Is it all by and through the computer, or do you have customers down there also?
see you and take care

Hello Deb,, have you gotten up to the color-splash we call FALL here in Michigan? The upper half of the lower peninsula is about 100% right now, but we lower-halfers are going to get ours in another twelve days or so,,,and then the show is over.
Hope things are going well for you!
Stay in touch!

Hi Deb, update: Hey, if you are to be downstate near Pontiac, they have a 3-day gig called "Arts, Beats, and Eats" that really rocks. Various stage bands, food, crafts, bigtime show of talent there, including Joan Jett and some other well-known performers. Its going to be a beautiful weekend with the weather and time off of work (I work at Ford full time).
take care

Hi again, yes, michigan summers are the best. We have this crazy sport here called SKIING, which involves trying to stay warm as you let gravity take you downhill at great speeds through snow,,,,what a rush! I think the Leelanau Peninsula (north and a bit west of traverse city) is an awesome area for a summer weekend drive, or a B & B weekend around Lake Michigan. Try it sometime! Have a great night!

Hey Deb, have you been to Traverse City and the cherry festival proceedings in the summer(s) here in Michigan? I think its one of the best things we have going in Michigan. Just thought I'd share that with you.
take care

Hi Deb, and welcome to Michigan where the hunters are hungry and the deer are nervous (mostly during hunting season, of course). Glad to meet you and hoping that you enjoy our state, now home to you also.
bye for now

Hi Deb:
Hey, welcome, and nice to see another Michiganian on here! I'm south of you a bit, down in the southeast area a bit east of Pontiac in Rochester.
How long have you been doing steno?
Hope to hear from you.

Hi Deb! Didn't even think of finding you here - how great!

I did so much gardening yesterday, I can hardly type - good thing it's a slow week!

Hope you're enjoying June, and thanks for letting me put a name to your face! Are our other friends on here too?

Deb,

Looking for a scopist to start giving all my work to. I've never used one before, but I need to get my life back. I'm on Eclipse NT and would want a scopist to scope by the audio files Is that something you do? If so, please let me know if you're interested. I could put you to work immediately. Take care and hope to hear from you.

Hi Deb,

I saw your CSR page via Kelli Combs' and wanted to leave you a note. I was a paralegal for 10 years and the segued into medical transcription for the past 15 (actually still have a few accounts); however, the writing has long been on the wall about MT being a dying breed. Hence, I have just started (one week ago!) learning court reporting. Did you do it online or at home or in school? I think the two years is awesome; I have heard so many stories of years and years. I am doing it at home and so far it's going well.
