Hello beautiful; send me your e-mail so we can comunicate privately. Just got your message and still sad about you not being able to do 20+ depos a month like me. It's too slow up there. You need to come down some. Hope all is well with you. Congrats on your "wonderful boyfriend" and your daughter. I know she must be the most "precious" little gift. I know you remember mine. She's 21 now. Wow, huh? Take care & love always.
I'm in receipt of your note. I can provide rate info via email (frances4@snet.net) I specialize in medical malpractice scoping/proofreading but accept all types of work. I am only accepting StenoCat 32 right now. Thanks for your interest. Fran
Thank you for the note. I'm currently only accepting CaseCatalyst and Eclipse reporters as my laptop with the StenoCat took a dive (very sad story). Hope all is well in your world....
Hi Marcie, your name sounds so familiar. Did we work together before? Let me know how I can be of service. I have two reporters that I currently scope for, but if you were to need overflow, by all means let me know.
Thank you for the recommendation for Deborah. I am also available if you need any help with any scoping. It's been slow, slower than usual for this time of the year.
Yeah, I'm on Stenocat32. And it's very hard to find experienced and reliable scopers out there. Please let me know if you have any good scopers to refer me to. I'm glad you're busy. It seems like it's always feast or famine; doesn't it??
Hi Marcie,
I have been a reporter for 20 years working in the San Diego, CA area. I know how you feel with it being slow with the economic crisis. Right now I am working for five firms just to keep steady. I am looking for a part-time scopist to help with work. I have had a scoper for seven years that is only available on the weekends. I usually take PI, Workers' Comp., expert depos, some hearings. If you are interested, I'd love to hear from you.
Please call at (619) 254-5290.
Thanks,
Deborah
Hello, Marcie!
My name is Lorrie. I am a freelance reporter in the S.F. Bay Area. I imagine that it gets a bit slow up in your neck of the woods. It's been really funky down here this calendar year! Really funky!
Anyway, my primary proofreader will be on vacation the week of Oct. 27 (geez, how rude is that?! -- ha-ha!) so I am looking for a backup proofreader. As of this point in time I am scheduled for a job on Friday, 10/24 (no expedited requested as of this time), and two-day expedite jobs on Monday, 10/27, and Tuesday, 10/28.
Are you interested/available? And, if so, what are your rates? And how do you send me the corrections back, by errata sheet or otherwise?
Thanks so much for your time!

Little do they know we were friends before (I say that because we just got added as friends on this site)! I like reading what other reporters have to say, and this is a good place to do that. You know me, always looking for something to distract me when I should be working!
To anyone reading this: If you're ever lucky enough to find Marcie with time to scope or proof for you, take full advantage because she's the best!!! I appreicate her work and respect her opinions and am grateful for her friendship. And who knows; we may actually meet face to face one day!
Oh, my God! Look at you! I saw your name, and it rung a bell, a very loud bell. Your name sounded sooo familiar. I said I know this girl. I do remember you, and my, how beautiful you are. Jeeesh! God IS good. Anyway, Congratulations. I am soooo happy for you. Great job and fantastic dedication. I lost touch with all those after me once I left. I keep in touch with Lynne & especially Lea (Tomasini). I talk to her at least twice a year. So, you're still in Eureka, huh? Oh, Man! I thank God for you and your success. You surely deserve it. Of course I accept you as my friend. It's been nearly 20 years. Man, I just can't stop looking at your picture. Come to my site and read all you can and all the responses I give to others, especially the students that I'm trying to help, because I remember all too well when I was there. I know Gay is gone. I guess she did a great job for you before she left. Any word on Rae? I've missed her and wish I could hunt her down. Last I heard, she was in Mississippi. Get back to me real soon and again, congratulations!!!!!!! (On everything...you're gorgeous.) Love you, your old classmate and only male that made it.
Hi Marcie!!! Gosh, I haven't been on here for awhile, but I got your message. Thanks for adding me. Your picture is so pretty! Always nice to have a face to go with the e-mails. :) Have a great night...what's left of it!
