does this mean you are no longer available? I usually don't assign over the weekend, since I can't confirm anything. again, I cannot check e-mail after now, for all day, so I am bringing your phone number with me, but your message left me sort of hanging, are you available wed., or not. I will call you just as soon as I hear form the attorney re this job and what is happening. I have no confirmation right now, as I am not out in the field.

Once again, no access to e-mail when I leave the house to go to a job, only cell phone. 415v 823-3790

thanks,

maggi

Hi Elise,
Thanks so much for the information. I am very nervous about moving to CA because I don't have my CSR. I see that you did C.A.R.T. for a few years, I was wondering if you could give me some information on it. Like how did you get into it? Did it pay well?

Greetings from the southern end of this great state! I am also a newbie on Bridge, so I'm still navigating my way through it. My job this coming Tuesday will require me to use it again, so I'm going to put myself through a "refresher" and watch the tutorial videos once more. It's not difficult at all. I'm sure you'll find it easy to use. If I can't answer your questions, there are TONS o' folks out here who can. I think you can also download the tutorials off of the Eclipse website. I may also end up trying out that other software that was mentioned (Transcript Pro?). So many new things, so little time!

Good for you for heading in the direction of realtime! I'm sure you're closer than you think. It's hard, I'll admit, to "let go" and be able to laugh at yourself when you hit the keys for "escrow" [SKROE] and it translates into "sexual intercourse" on the screen. (That's never happened to me, by the way) :-0

Your photos and videos are SO fun! I need to get on the bandwagon and get some photos and music uploaded. Drop in anytime! Maybe you'll be able to teach ME a few things on Bridge!

Hi, Elise!

I must confess, I am a CSRnation newbie. You have been the first person I touched base w/. I just clkd on broadcast captioners and there you were.

Second confession...I've never done Facebook or Myspace or even online dating so I am completely clueless about how this works. If you have any hints or tips, I'm very interested!!!

Just wondering if you will be at the Anaheim convention next month. Looking for networking opportunities and, as u probably know, there is always room for new friends in this profession!

Thanks for your time and have a fantastic day!

Seems you had some problems, and I can see how that would make it hard to get out of school, but at least now you can say you did it!!! God, I can't wait till I can say that, I'm still in that, "What did I get myself into stage," lol. Some days I think I might of gotten in over my head and I even wander can I do this. But trying to change my career now is really not an option for me, so I figure I might as well stick with it, and I just keep reminding myself, Rome wasn't built in a day. Thinking when you first got started you couldn't do anything, and now look what I can do, so if I could get that, must mean I can do the rest. Its not all that its hard, but mainly that it is soooooo much, and maybe when theres been enough time to let it all sink in, all the pieces will fall into place, and it wont be hard but just something you can do, that comes automatic and easy, kinda like learning to ride a big bike when your such a small kid, I suppose everything comes with time, all I have to do is pray I have it. Thanks for all the encouragment, you know as students you can always use more, lol.

Elise, I'm at Mom's - just got back at 6:00 tonight. Had a great time - learned some good stuff - not too much, but enough. Tried out the LS for a bit, had Keith and Jeremy fix some apparently OLD RT macros. Everyone was very helpful and nice. I'll try to call tomorrow from Mom's. I'm going home in the late afternoon. Hope you got all your jobs out - ha!

Hi, Elise, I love what Michael wrote about you passing the CSR when you were - ahem - not in your twenties! So true - very inspiring to other aspiring students who are also not in their twenties.

Dear Elise,
Oh, okay; so you're trying to trick me, huh? Okay. I saw San Bernardino under your name and I thought that's where you were living, thus working. If I had known that was just a birthplace, maybe I should have put Biloxi, Mississippi under mine. I bet that would have sent the wrong message to everybody. Okay, so San Jose, huh? All right, well I grew up in San Mateo, went to J.C. at Canada College for my court reporting. Yes, I do depos here in southern Cali. I guess you're not coming to the convention, then, huh? Since it's not in your backyard, unless you'll be or can be visiting family out here at that time. Okay, well, nothing to chat about in the San Bernardino job market area since you're not here. Thanks for responding to me. Oh, yeah, one more thing. Are you really 50 years of age or is that another mistake under your photo? If you are, you are the YOUNGEST looking 50 i've ever seen. Congratulations on your passing the CSR. Your number is fairly recent. If you passed that exam at that age, a lot of young people would love to hear about that and hold you up as an example. Anyhow, take care and peace out. Delete Comment

Hi, Elise; Guess what? I'm such a dunce. I was informed by our administrators of CSRNation that I've been responding to others but pressing the wrong button at times and have actually been writing to myself. I just found out which ones it was and I'm trying to master that cut&paste part but haven't yet. I see you are one of the recipients that never received some of my responses. so, I will try to cut & paste it on your site. so, when you get something from me that seems out of place, notice the date and just put it in place. sorry for all that. I feel so dumb. Be patient with me, okay? Peace out, Baby.

Well, hello, Elise; How are you? I will be requesting you to be my friend formally, as soon as I can find that button. Anyhow, you are welcome to my site and read about me. I do a LOT of work in San Bernardino area and notice you are there. Interesting! Are you gonna go to the Convention in Anaheim? I'd like to meet you. Your music is absolutely great. What a diversity of ranges you have. I do also. I love Alicia, Marvin, and (believe it or not) Johnny Cash is my favorite. Isn't that odd? But I love him. Anyyhow, I tried to get ahold of you through live chat therre on the right, but you never responded and I noticed you were on-line. Without further adieu, I will wait and see if you accept me before I run on and on and on. Until then, peace out.

We had a blast!!! The music was great, Dawn's mom went too! We played cards while listening to the jams, and even had a few brewskies with some great food!! After all that, there was the most wonderful firewords display that I have ever seen! It was great! You should come next time. . . get out of that work environment and have some fun. It was right next to the Bay Bridge, so once the sun went down, the lights were all over the bridge, as well as in the city! It was so much fun. I will be going every year, now that I know how great it is! Okay. Get out of that house and enjoy the outsides girl! We are going to have some late breakfast and then go see a movie. later girl, elise

I've just gone through all my little floppies and deleted and made sure some final jobs and txt files were in my final folder. What a mess I have here. Similar to the pic on my page! Maybe Carl told you about my setup over here. I've also sorted out some rebillings and am gathering up phone numbers so I can call tomorrow to find out why I haven't been paid. My next errard of the morning is to download more back info into Quicken. Did you have fun last night in the city???

I know there's a per diem (half day or full day) and then there's a higher rate if they order transcripts. I don't normally do hearings so I'm not really the one to ask, though. Sorry. Glad to hear you've been busy :)

Hi Elise - I would only put myself in there in that instance if it doesn't make sense in the transcript if you don't put it in there. Hope that makes sense. If it doesn't, call me, k? Hope you're well.
