Help! I've spent way too much time looking for the name of this test that came up in a homicide trial I'm transcribing. I believe it's something like McFields reagent. It's a chemical test to confirm whether or not a stain is blood.

The forensics specialist got away before I had a chance to confirm it with him. I was hoping to finish this transcript this weekend and the crime lab is closed on the weekends so I can't call my connections there. Has anyone ever come across this before? Thanks so much.
