I was hoping to get some feedback from reporters who have done trial work in court and have provided realtime through Livenote to the judge, but also was able to provide realtime to the attorneys through Caseview Net using Case Catalyst software. Is this even possible to do? I know reporters have provided RT for both the judge and counsel simultaneously, but I'm not sure it's possible using the two different software programs at the same time.
I have the multi-line block to hook up to each attorney, but that uses a different comport than the serial port converter I use to hook up Livenote for the judge. I'm not sure I am able to use both because they each have a different comport number and the software only allows you to choose one. Am I doing something wrong or do I just need a different system?
This is all new to me. I've provided RT for the judges for years, but have never done it for the attorneys. I would really appreciate any feedback!! Thank you!!

I think you're going to need a router if you want to use CaseView Net.

When I used cables, I could send out to LiveNote and Caseview Net at the same time. As Kyung mentioned, it's the same protocol. Just choose Caseview protocol to output and send everyone through the multiline block, including the judge. The com port you choose on CaseCatalyst is the com port that you're outputting over, not what they're receiving at. That's chosen on their computer.
I've even outputted via my Caseview Net router to CVN and to LiveNote at the same time via cable. So it's definitely possible. Just set everyone up on your multiline block.
