I write this thread in hopes that others may chime in.

Since I have discovered CSRnation, it has become a part of my daily life. Each morning, as I'm sipping my coffee, I enjoy reading the posts and blogs. I have formed work relationships and online friendships here since I have joined.

In recent times, the forum is going through some changes. Though I realize there are some things that are beyond my control as far as the health of this forum, I have become increasingly concerned about this forum's future.

I don't want to lose CSRnation. I have seen forum features removed in recent times, such as the template backgrounds I customized on My Page, as just one example of what is disconcerting to me.

I want to know what we as forum members can do to help maintain the survival of CSRnation. Aside from donating funds to keep this forum alive and well, which I personally have already done twice, I do wonder what else I as a member can do.

I l ike it here, dag nab it. I want this place to grow and be here for me. Any thoughts?

I have donated in the past and will gladly donate again. I appreciate this site so much!
Just wanted to echo Jenni's comments. I really like this site!
We all love the networking and everything that this site has brought us, and we don't want to lose it. Monti has told us that he is building us a new site, and we all just need to be patient and wait for him to let us know when the new site is ready. It takes a lot of time and a lot of hard work to do what was done here, and I find peace in the fact that I can just continue to do my job while Monti does everything that needs to be done to allow us to continue to have what this site has brought us. When it's ready, we can all go there and get everything going again.
Stephanie,

Anytime you have a question, you can always email me. I am a working reporter and cannot always get online but I will do my best to get back to you as soon as I can.

Kelli
Stephanie,

What "other" blog?

Judy

eta: just saw it. No need to answer.
Well, I can tell you for a fact I did not delete any of your posts or anyone else for that matter. Also, I don't want anyone to donate. That was never my idea and that box will not be up again.
Lisa,

I never deleted any of your posts or anyone else's for that matter. As far as the donation tab, I never cared for that feature. It will not be put up again.
Kelli,

I appreciate all of your efforts to keep this forum alive and well. I have a feeling things will be back to normal soon. Sometimes change can be difficult to embrace. We're all happy just to have this place. Thanks for keeping it going. :-)
Sometimes change can be difficult to embrace.

So true! And when it seems that everything is going against you, it's refreshing that somebody can admit that the world isn't against them, it's just that they've stepped into unfamiliar territory. And, of course, we all know there's a huge learning when we undertake brand-new projects.

I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping that you can get the hang of this soon, Kelli. Remember when you got your first CAT system and the first time you thought you accidentally deleted that 200-page expedite? Yeah, you freaked and uttered a few curse words, called support, and found the missing file. Just take a deep breath and know you didn't just put a toe in the water but did a full dive and yesterday'll all be like a strange dream pretty soon.
I worked on this site all day yesterday and accomplished and learned a lot about the website. I now feel like I can do this. I was overwhelmed at first but it is getting easier.

Thanks for your words of encouragement, Jennie and Judy. I am not going anywhere and neither is this website.

I am just starting to have fun now that I have got the hang of things. It also helps that my husband is pretty tech savvy and taught me how to fix some stuff.
Obviously, this website isn't going to pay for itself.

But right now I'm surviving on unemployment $300 a week and a female roommate who does not clean (my house). So I sure am glad I don't have to donate or pay a fee for the website. But I would if I needed to.
I am not asking anyone to pay a fee. Forget that "Donate" button was ever up on this website. I did not always have a lot of say in what happened on this website. Now I do.

I really think the year 2010 will be a great year and everyone will get tons of work and we will all be happy.
