Hey, gang!

My name is Chris Renegar, and now that the holidays are over, I am tired of twiddling my thumbs and watching Oprah. ;-) I am ready to work for you! I have 15-plus years' experience as a proofreader/scopist and have worked formerly as a medical transcriptionist. I specialize in particular in medical and/or technical deposition transcripts, expedites, and trial testimony.

If you are interested, I will send out a sample transcript as a PDF document so you may see how my corrections process works. You submit your job in ASCII format via e-mail, I convert it to a Microsoft Word document and use the "Track Changes" feature in Word. Upon completion, I send it back to you as a PDF file. (NO ERRATA SHEETS!) Payment is handled exclusively through PayPal (sorry, no paper checks).

I offer quick turnaround time (same-day and overnight rush service available), reasonable rates, and an abundance of useless knowledge floating around in my head. ;-) I do all the work personally. I do not subcontract.
