Stenograph Pro Model Writer

Anyone ever heard of this writer, made in 1992?
I couldn't fine ANY info about it on the Internet.

If you've searched the Stenograph website and not found it, chances are it's a model that no longer is supported by Stenograph.

If my memory serves me correctly, years ago ProCat had a writer that used Stenograph parts. I don't think that's the info you're looking for now.

There's one on e-bay for $10.00. It looks like a paperless writer. I know it's computerized and works.

It looks brand new. Obviously it wasn't made for very long. I was wondering if anyone ever had one.

Okay. I'll let you know whether I win or don't. If I win, I'll write my stuff here and you can cut and paste it. For $12.00 or $30.00 I'm not worried about wasting the money. It looks like a computer writer. If I can connect to a laptop and use DigitalCat with it, at least I'll look good. :)

I saw that writer also on E-bay. It looks to me like the writers they sold back in the days they sold the Cimmaron editing station. I don't know (or remember) if you could do realtime with them, i.e., if they had a realtime cable.

Since I could find absolutely nothing on the Internet, I have an idea this writer was a tester model, where they had made so many, put them out to various reporters, to test what reporters thought - and the brand never made it to the market.
