I use Case very rarely, so I sometimes forget the little tricks. I have a transcript where Mr. or Mrs. comes up as Mr. Or Mrs. (or capped). I've tried to E-define, but that doesn't work. Any suggestions as to how I get the "or" uncapped?

YOU'RE AWESOME!!
Would you mind addressing another issue? Again, I use Case so rarely.

Even after pressing Shift+F9 and the volume control box appears, I am unable to adjust the speed. I get a feeling it has something to do with the location of the audio file. I could be totally off. Anyway, I'm unable to slow this dang this down and it's working me to death. Any suggestions?
Jacki,

Call me. I'll help you write a macro for the audio.

You have to hit F4 and then F5. This will force the next word after the full stop to be uncapped.

You need to go to your custom keyboard map, press "S" to highlight Mr. Or Mrs., press "T' to D-Define, in the new text box type Mr., then go to the "FS" on the right-hand side of the new text box, scroll down to "uncap next," double click so that it is placed in the new text box, then type "or Mrs." Go down to Global Type and select entire file, press "Okay."

So in the new text box it should read:  Mr. <Uncap Next>or Mrs.

You could do the F4 F5, but that is just a one-time fix.  Do it in your D-Defines and it will become part of your dictionary...

You will never have that problem again.

Hope that helps.
