I have extensive training in multiple stenotype theories and can, from the very start, prepare an accurate transcript directly from your stenotype notes or CAT.  Because I have been trained in punctuation and research, the job will be complete and ready for you to proofread.  I am willing to purchase the CAT software that you use.

Stacy, you don't say what software you are using.  I use Eclipse, but no one reading your post will know what software you have.  The main two are Case CAT and Eclipse.  You need to pick one or maybe both, which may be expensive.

No one uses note readers anymore with audio; it's obsolete!

I am willing to buy whichever program the court reporter is using.  I do not yet have a program.

Stacy:

It's important to not only have the software, but to also be familiar with its workings.  One cannot call themselves a scopist if they don't have the corresponding software and (equally important) don't know how to utilize it.

BTW, I'm not knocking note-reading (it's essential to what we do as scopists), and it's great that you are well-versed in steno theory, punctuation, and research. Just make the decision to select one software (very few of us are able to have the means for two different softwares), and hopefully, you'll be in business  Best of luck to you.

Thanks, I just recently decided to take an internship to learn a program, and I will start looking again soon!
