Yep, we should be. We're so excited that it's closer to us this time! :-) We have some relatives in town that day that we can work around the outing, depending on what time Marla decides to have it. So we'll be there for at least some of it for sure. As it gets closer to the 13th, contact us to see when we're going to be there (unless you'll be there from start to finish), and we'll make sure to hook up so we can finally chat! I look forward to it!

Yes, I got both of the jobs you sent out and you are correct, you do not get an email since you are the one who sent it out.
I think it is worth doing since it only takes less than 20 seconds to do, results should get better as we grow, at some point we hope to have 10K members. the chances to cover a job will be much higher.

Well, hello fellow member of So Cal CSR Forum. I just recently joined CSR Nation. I love this place. I just uploaded pix to my page, too. I love your Page here, so colorful. It was great to meet you at PF Chang's but didn't get much of a chance to talk. I ran into Lisa Michaels of Chase Depos -- we went to CSR school together and played catch up.

The labelmaker just puts the kibosh on it anyway. They want a sticker, I'll print it! But none of this wasting sheets of exhibit stickers like before. Wasn't even the cost; it was the inconvenience of not having them when I needed them! Like stamps, ya know???

I worked for them in the past --- she pays...that's pretty much what matters. I can't remember if it was timely, but I think so....I don't remember having problems. I do remember I wrote email instead of e-mail and she had a heart attack and sent the transcript back for me to fix it. lol lol That's what I really remember. So make sure your commas are where they are supposed to be. :)

The resort is gorgeous -- so when you are ready to go on vacation, let me know and I'll set it up for you. You need to book way in advance so you can get what you want.

The state of Tennessee doesn't require that you have a license (yet). I do have my equipment. I need to purchase a microphone and recorder. I do have the student version of my software. I was going to lease the full version after I started work. I know the software pretty well.

Getting my resume ready is a great start. I'll work on that today. I have to say I did have the jitters at first but then I came on and read your blog and the other comments and kind of relaxed. Thanks for your advice.

Yeah, I've been crazy busy, but not with work. I got engaged on June 29th in Ireland, then I got married August 8th in Oregon. Now it's time to get back to work. How is it out there? Is it busy? How are you doing?

So true... I always tell reporters to back up back up back up! then i forget to back up... Doh!

In case you didn't know, Reporters call me when their lives... Errr, i mean laptops crash and that's always my first lesson.
Things are back to normal, just need to redo the tabs back to the way i had them.

You left me a comment forever ago about a meeting a bunch or reporters were going to have in April and I was out of town and unable to attend. I was wondering if you guys were going to have a get together any time soon? I just passed the July '08 CSR and would love to be able to meet with some reporters to get advice. No. I havent taken a job yet. I am going to start giving agencies a call on Monday, I just found some online and thought I would give them a call. It's overwhelming trying to figure out where to start and what to do now that I passed. I couldn't be more excited though : )

Things are good. A little slow, but I manage to get calls for last-minute jobs. After the conference, I found out I was pregnant! So I'm kind of liking the not-so-busy schedule that I have right now while I'm trying to adjust. How's work going for you?

Thanks! I'm about 10 weeks right now. So far I've been lucky that all my symptoms have been really light. My morning sickness was never really that bad and now it's just about gone.

What happened to your elbow?

That's all I seem to drink, water. It's so dry out here in Vegas. Can't wait till I'm able to have a martini again. My last drink was a margarita before finding out. :)
