    Hello Robin,
Would you send me your rates for scoping with and without audio on DigitalCAT? Thanks.
  • tracy

Hi! I am in Philly and do deps and CART, but I like the CART much better. What part of Jersey are you in?
  • tracy

I have done the remote and find it harder than being on site. There are a lot of things you can't hear, but at least you are home in your pajamas, drinking a cup of coffee while you are doing it!
  • S. Arielle

Just sending a hello Robin. I used to live in NJ before moving to Pa. Hope to talk to you again
  • S. Arielle

Well, I live right over the border between NJ/Pa off of Rt. 78.....directly west of NY. It actually takes me an hour and a half to get to work if downtown and 2 hours to Midtown.....goes fast though. After construction on 78, the traffic great now. I can't give up the money I make in NY and I work part time...that's because I live in Pa. You can have your dream house and you don't have to work 5 days a week to just pay the mortgage. You live in NJ.....I know you know what I mean with how the real estate is in NJ. But we love Pa. We are 25 mins away from most skiing places....We all go or I drop off the kids and pick them up later in the day, and the everything is near by. We moved here 6 years ago and it's great. You would love it.
  • S. Arielle

I drive in. So much better...you hear your radio, drink your coffee....no one is sleeping or snoring next to you. lol lol I used to take the bus when I first moved here and it added an hour to my commute with the stops that I was getting home exhausted. Now when my job is done, I get in my car and go.
I work for a few offices in NY and Ca
  • S. Arielle

We saw a Pit at our vet's office and he so wanted to play with my little princess. lol lol lol He was whining like a little kid. lol lol It was so funny

    Hey, Robin!

I love your picture and your page here. You'll have to tell me how to make mine that pretty, I guess the wallpaper.

Guess what? One of my two fish had two babies. Now I have to go to the pet store tonight and buy a net so the two big ones don't eat the babies. EEEW, but it happens.

Still busy this week? I am! :o)

Oh, no, nothing that big. I love the Oscars, though. If I had a larger tank, I would get some. Angelo used to have some, he said. I have Red Tags and Black Mollys (yeah, really), and the Molly looks like a Dalmation, black and white spotted with dots, just too cool, and he's got the best personality of any I've ever had. The Red Tag is very bright red with a black fins and tail, and she's the one who had the babies. I noticed she had been at the bottom of the tank a lot lately, but I just figured she was acting weird, which she doesn't have the personality of the Molly. I hope they don't get eaten by the time I get to the pet store. Yikes! I think this tank in only15 gallons or so.

She was aerating the eggs. When we had first set up the tank, our cichlid was acting strange. We found a zillion eggs that she was protecting and aerating on flat rock. We went through purchasing the maternity tank that you transfer them to and hang inside your tank. Did all the reading up on caring for the baby fish, all to discover that without the male cichlid to fertilize the eggs, they were just caviar. She ate them. Every so often she'd go through the motions. The oscar would go through the "mating" ritual with her, but he couldn't fertilize her eggs.

    Robin,
I would have added a "grin" to that comment, but I guess it's not allowed. Maybe a smiley? No?!
Now I'm in trouble -- can't see your message here.

From memory, then: I'm still in training on voice and steno. Just got the Dragon NaturallySpeaking version 10 upgrade. Voice is working much better for me, 180 wpm on the first day! Hopefully I'll be captioning in a couple of years.

Robin, I'm in the process of learning Eclipse, kind of teaching myself. Do you think it's a hard software to learn? I used Premier Power and then Case CAT after that, so I've only had Stenograph products. Eclipse seems to be a totally different animal!!

Thanks for adding me as a friend!

Thanks for your response! My little cutie starts preschool tomorrow for the first time, boo-hoo! I'm not sure if I'm ready for it!

I have a friend who's supposed to help me with Eclipse, but she built a house and hasn't had the time! I guess I'll muddle through these tutorials. Ugh!

  • LuAnn Parks

Hi Robin, my name is LuAnn Parks. I'm a reporter/videographer. I am considering using a scopist from now on with my reporting work, since I'm really busy with the legal video business now. I just don't have time to sit down and transcribe anymore. but I still occasionally sit down and take a deposition or serve in court when needed. I use Stenovations/DigitalCat. Are you able to receive the audio files? And if so, what are your page rates and turnaround times? Thanks!
  • Kristi

Hi, Robin. My name is Kristi Baxter, and I'm a court reporter in Dallas, and have a daily copy arbitration starting up on 10/6-10/17. I'm interested in getting some help with this as I will be taking the 1-6 p.m. shift on a couple of these days. I would have to send you the transcript and audio files on breaks. Could you please let me know if you're available and what you're rates are.
  • Donna M. Brady

Hi Robin, I am a circuit court reporter doing criminal and civil trials in SC. I'm on Eclipse, looking for a couple of scopists to help me keep up. Can you tell me your rates? I look forward to talking with you.

Thank you. I had a great birthday. Went to visist my daughter in South Carolina for a long weekend.

I've actually been wanting to trade that last name in for the last 20 years, maybe wind up with a name like Smith or Brown, but I don't think it's going to happen.
  • Lin

Thank you so much for the birthday greeting...It was so sweet & thoughtful. Have a beautiful day
  • shirley littleton

Thank you so much for the birthday wish!!!!! Didn't take it in November. I've been going through a lot of things with my son. I pray things get better so I can get on with my life. I want to do this before I retire!!! Again, thanx a bunch!! May God continue to bless and keep you!!!!
  • Christina

Hey Robin! School is going. I want to be finished by May, since the CSR exam is at the end of June. We'll see how that goes. I feel REALLY comfortable at 200, but I'm one of those that when it's time for the test (the one I need that is) I forgot to breathe! he he!! So I'm really working on that right now and think I starting to really relax by catching myself. How's work going?
  • Christina N Blair

thanks for the birthday wishes. I'm new to CSR and haven't been on the site much and didn't realize people would wish me a happy birthday! Thank you. It was a pleasant surprise.
  • Christina N Blair

Great pix! I love the one with your dog resting on the pillow!!

  • Erin Walsh

Hi, Robin! Thank you for the birthday wishes. That made my day!
  • Christina

Hey, Robin! Just rejoicing that I passed my 4-voice for 5 mins and my jury charge. Now all I need are my 4-voice for 10 mins and my 190 congressional (the only one I have trouble getting to because it's the early one). I'm trying to pass at least one more before Spring break, so I have to pass something by Friday (short term goal) I want to pass my qualifier for the June 26th CSR exam. Cross your fingers for me *_*
  • Audrey Ricks

Hello there! I didn't realize you were out here on CSR Nation! I love your photos, especially the ones of CHAMP! ;-) If you're on Facebook, come find me over there -- I'm on that every day as opposed to here, which is not that often. ;-)
  • Audrey Ricks

I try to switch up my page from time to time. You can tell I haven't done much lately. I need to add some new photos (in all of my spare time)! ha ha
  • Trudi O'Brien

    Hi Robin,
I did some searching and found you here. It was great talking to you. Good luck and I will drop you an email.

  • Karen A. Jones

    Hey soon-to-be birthday girl!
I whipped you up a little something on the CRF. Hope you're treated really special tomorrow! You deserve it!
  • Karen A. Jones

I know, Robin! Maybe we'll see some more trees being "planted" for another movie. Remember that?
I hope you're having a great day today! (I'm a little older than you, so I'll need 36 candles )
P.S. My ankle bracelet is doing fine, but one's enough!
