Hey Dana, I think you could make MTC a group if you and the others want. I think this is a great way for all of us to network and just see what others who have already been where you have been are today!!!! Robert is better -- sleeping like a baby right now!!! I'll send email soon!
Hey Dana, I just added you as a friend. I tried last night but it was my first time you know!!! : )~ Have a good one - I love all your pictures. I have to get a few rolls of film developed before I can add mine!
why is the mtc group not available to me? you just don't want me to be in your little group, huh? yeah yeah i understand. it's because im handicapped right? hehehehe
well I hope we have power tomorrow! hee hee. And the room will smell like oranges and not dead animal. That orange smelly stuff smells good! I met Coconut today. And she said they just made Crystal R. Vice President. Yay for her!
Hi Dana. When you finish school, take a job with the State as an official. You will never regret it. I loved it for 28 years. Nice to meet you. Brenda Douglas
Yes, I live in Aiken, but do the majority of my work in Augusta now. I only work 4-6 days a month in court and then an occasional depo. Any time I can help you, let me know. Brenda Sigwald and I are former co-workers and friends.
Well scatch that. But seriously before you guys graduate we need to have a little shindig! I had so much fun at that Christmas Party Wendy had. And little Hunter wasn't even thought about then, but he would have loved them big goldfish! ;)
Yeah, I know. I feel really bad in the morning, but I feel decent now. But I have Danielle so I can't come up. I'm like coughing stuff up too. Yuck. Well, I am going to try really, really hard to be there tomorrow.
Hi Dana, I'm in Charleston. I've had my Lightspeed since Sept., I think. If you've read other users' comments, you'll see that most of us had problems getting out settings right for our individual touch, but most everyone also says, it's worth the time it takes to do that. As a student it might not be so time-consuming for you to make the adjustment. I absolutely LOVE my LS. The touch is fantastic -- extremely light -- the writer itself is small and lightweight, the company, Stenovations, has been fantastic as far as helping with any problems that arise. I highly recommend the writer. It's only $2,199, and, as an added bonus, you have 90 days in which to try it out and then can return it if you don't like it (with a 20% restocking fee). I have a friend who bought one at the same time as I did and she did return hers within the 90 days. I'm so glad I hung in there and kept working with it. I think a lot of the initial problems that a lot of us were having have been worked out by the company now anyway. If you have any more questions just let me know. And good luck in school!

Hi Dana, I started out with it on my lap and I kept having a problem getting a good touch on the final "PB" to make an "N". One day I thought I'd give the tripod a try and that works beautifully for me. I tilt it slightly and my writing is so much better. I think the majority of users are putting it on their lap, however, which is a wonderful option. On all-day jobs I will take it off occasionally and put it on my lap for a while, just so I can sit in a different position and give my back a break.
I have never had problems with my hands until last year (I've reported 20+years!) and I think the LS has made a difference. It's wonderful!
