Hi Bonnie. I just wanted to stop by and say hi and introduce myself. I'm also in the Orlando area. I've been a court reporter for 15 years. It's been slow lately and I usually proof all my stuff myself, but you never know when it gets busy and I'm swamped. At that time I could use some help. Hopefully things will start picking up some. I've been trying to pick up some overflow work. Keep in touch.
Yes, I do have Eclipse. And man do I wish I had known about you sooner. I usually do my own proofing, but with long jobs, it's tedious. I just had to do some excerpts of a civil trial and a couple 200 page depos. I'm pretty caught up for now, but I'm sure I can use you in the future. I HATE proofing...LOL. I'm going on vacation the second week in July myself. I will put your info in my Blackberry so I'll have it and I'll also pass the info along to some other reporters I know. How do you normally do the corrections? That's the only thing I've hated in the past, is that it's difficult to get the corrections from the proofist. Also I had one bad experience, where I had to literally go right behind them and reproof it myself cause there was mistakes. I can also send you the wave files though if you're on Eclipse. How much do you charge per page? Thanks so much for the reply :)
