Yes; After I posted that, I went to your page and saw the King. He is a beauty! He certainly looks like he's got a good life. My cats are skilled reporting professionals >wg<. They are faithful transcript preparation supervisors.

    Cathyrn,

Things were horribly slow in December, and January is not starting out much better. Tomorrow will be my second job of the new year. It's beautiful here this week, after a cold, windy spell we've had lately. I'm sure I'll waste lots of time on this site!
  • Rosalie A. Kramm

I totally remember you. Thanks for welcoming me to the site!!! I am in a depo right now with 3 nice attorneys. I love it when attorneys are nice and respectful.
  • Greg Adelson

Good to see you here, Cathryn.

I am looking for a person that I went to school with many, many moons ago circa 1975, in Santa Monica, Ca, The Clark College of Court Reporting. Her name is Valentina Lopez and I am just wondering if you know whether she is practicing in the field and perhaps how to get in touch with her.

    Hi Cathryn!
    how are ya doin?
    happy new year!
  • Adam D. Miller

Cathryn, I assume the bag was already torn and the cat just stumbled upon it? (at least that's what I gather from that look of innocence.)

Your discussions are invaluable to me! I'm a struggling theory student and I want you to know your opening up dialogue on some of the main things I'm curious about, online vs. brick and mortar...and whether or not CCR online truly is the best was a good question! I am still figuring it out and researching as I go. But I want to hear good recommendations if I ever decide to transfer to that school, it is very expensive!
  • Brenda Rogers

    Love the kitty pics, Cathryn!

Cathryn, I just want to thank you again for the "thank you" gift. That was so thoughtful. And I know DRA very much appreciates your support and acknowledgment of our efforts. We have a lot coming down the pike, so to speak. So member support is critical. I look forward to seeing you at the next event.

Hi Cathryn, I just joined this group. Remember me? Looks like this is a place with lots of resources. Glad I stumbled on it.

To all who would like to be my friends: Please use your full name. I do not accept friend requests from those who use a pseudonym or a first name only.

I am not in favor of online anonymity except in cases where public participation could affect job security, child custody, or other such matters. I feel that anonymity decreases accountability. It also leaves me with the sense that I am talking to someone while I am blindfolded, and they are not. So I have declined all friend requests from those who leave off their full names, and I will continue to do so.
  • Kim Schroeder

Hello, Ms. Cathryn! Hopefully my full name shows up. I am not good at these types of sites. Anyway, it's Kim Schroeder, stuffing my face as usual!!!
  • Kim Schroeder

Oh, that's funny! Great analogy! Yeah, Lorrie Marchant told me about this, and for some reason it's kinda slow on my computer. But I thought I'd try it out again. I've been getting your e-mails. Gosh, it's been horrible, huh?

    Cathryn,
Thank you so much for your donation.
I hope you have received some work through us!
    thanks again.

    Cathryn,
I'm glad I finally have a face with your name. You're the one who used to post all of the briefs over at NCRA's forum.
I sat behind you at the ESP seminar in Vegas in May during the auto indexing seminar. Did you ever figure it out? It was a really hard class, and I don't think a lot of folks got much out of it. I paid a scopist to do mine, and it works great.
