I'm sorry for this. Can I have your e-mail one more time? I somehow lost it in these messages and can't get back to it. I'm also going to be forwarding your e-mail to a friend of mine who has also been reporting for 15 years as well. She mentioned possibly using a proofer, so I told her about you. She asked for your e-mail.
Everything sounds great to me. Thank you! Just to let you know, I'm pretty good about getting my jobs scoped immediately. That way, if something comes up on your end -- like life -- you don't have to worry about the two-day timing thing! I always struggle with December every year with the slowness of work, but as soon as another job comes my way, I'll shoot it your way. Thanks again, Cathy. I've now got your e-mail, here's my e-mail. dmontanocsr@gmail.com
Talk to ya soon
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I haven't used a proofer in over 10 years, so how would this work? And what are your rates? And what is your turn-around time?
Talk to ya soon!
By the way, I live in California, Riverside County (Inland Empire).
I've been a court reporter for 15 years, scoping and proofing my own work. I've just recently switched over to a new agency and they require a proofer. The funny thing is, most of the work is worers' comp...easy. I need to have a proofer, so I was wondering what your schedule is like now. Are you too overwhelmed? Also, it is December, so it is the slow time. So I don't really know how busy I will be. What do you think?
