My name is Emily and I am a licensed CSR in California. I received my license in 1996 and worked until 2001. In the beginning of my career, I worked for various deposition firms. Then I became an official court reporter with the County of Alameda at the Fremont Superior Court.
In 2000, my daughter was born three months premature. Because of my daughter's prematurity and the fact that my husband and I wanted to have another child, we decided it was best for me to stop working. My daughter is now a happy, healthy 8-year old with a 6-year-old brother. Now that both kids are in school all day, I have decided I would like to become a scopist and work from home.
