Thanks for the kind words about my blog, stenonerd.blogspot.com. I love maintaining it. It's my creative release since I have such a rigid schedule with full-time school, part-time work, and studying/practicing every chance I can get! Hehehe.
That's AWESOME that you're so determined to finish school ASAP... that you even practice on the road! GOOD FOR YOU! You have firsthand knowledge then of how to travel with a steno machine! Hehehe. Because I see threads every now and then of working reporters asking their fellow working reporters HOW to travel with your steno machine... and you as a student already know how to do that! You're already ahead of the game! Hehehe.
Isn't it cool that once you've finished school, you STILL have the option to travel as a freelance reporter? I LOVE that we have so many choices available to us when we have our steno skills and writing at 225+ wpm!
WE WILL GET THERE!!! NEVER GIVE UP!!! KEEP PRACTICING!!!
...And may you be safe while you travel every which way as a flight attendant/court reporting student! :)
Wow! You're a court reporting student AND a flight attendant? How does that work? Is your schedule at school sporadic because of your job? Sorry, I have no idea, but I'd be very interested to know!
I'm a court reporting student too... also in my 160s! I need one more test to get into 180! Hopefully, it'll come sooner rather than later! :)
Please check out my blog when you get a chance -- stenonerd.blogspot.com. I chronicle my court reporting journey, from current student to soon-to-be professional. Like you (and I'm sure ALL the court reporting student outs there!), I cannot WAIT till I'm done with school and making the big bucks! Hehehe! :)
