Former legal secretary for 40 years in NY/NJ/Chicago large law firms.  I've been a transcriptionist p/t from home for the past 11 years - mostly legal, but also academic and business lectures.  I worked with a few CSRNation court reporters as clients until COVID came along.  Although the work dried up somewhat, and I was forced to work outside the home, I hear courts are getting busy again, so I am ready to crank out some transcripts, proofed twice, and accurate as usual!

I type 75 wpm, use Dropbox, Microsoft Word, Start Stop program, Paypal.  Great rates, accuracy and an accommodating, flexible personality.   Email me at metatauta@Hotmail.com for an assignment.  Thanks!

Overnight Transcriptionists Needed.

Hello,

We are currently looking for transcriptionists available to transcribe overnight discovery depositions.

Laws Reporting has over 45 years of court reporting experience in the South Florida area, currently looking for shorthand and QWERTY transcriptionists to work from home transcribing criminal court transcripts. All experience levels are welcome as transcripts range from discovery depositions to court proceedings and appeals.  We can meet your needs with 15 minutes to multiple days of transcription.  Audio files are provided through our online cloud system along with the job’s worksheets that include spelling of attorney names and audio times indicating the beginning and ending of the court proceeding, eliminating the need to research through a whole day’s audio. Completed transcripts are paid per page.

We currently only hire transcribers within the United States.

Please email recruit@lawsreporting.com

I am looking for some assistance transcribing some FTR files -- I have up to 20 hours.  I will need to have any files back by Tuesday, July 20.  Will pay $3/page.  I will be reviewing, so you don't need to have it proofread before returning it to me.  They are in witness examinations, as small as an hour, up to five hours.  Will also have some other projects coming up, so let me know if you are interested in those as well.

I have 10 years of transcription experience and specialize in the kind of audio you don't want to send through an AI or to a transcription mill, the kind that has terrible audio quality, many speakers, accents, and/or technical content. I have worked for a broad range of industries and governmental agencies all over the world. I offer competitive rates with fast turnaround, including evenings and weekends. Please visit my website for more details about my experience and rates: raecrothers.ca

I may be writing in the wrong section. I am a court reporter looking for a transcriptionist slash scopist who can do A1 hour audio tape that I would need back around 2 CST. If anybody sees this, please tell me where I should post. Thanks

I need a typist and/or scopist.  I have a one-hour audio I need returned about 2:00 tomorrow, CST.  This is extremely easy.  Audio is great.  Two attys and the witness is a psychiatrist.  Plaintiffs in M/V accident.  I have done 99 pages and there's one hour left.  Somehow broke my computer. It probably saw me with no make-up on.  Anyway, I am on Case Catalyst, but since it's just being typed it doesnt matter.  I dont know anything about Word software, but it doesnt matter.  I will try to email my set up numbers if I can.  I might be able to srnd a pdf, but not sure.  Let me know your rates are for the future.  For this depo, because the turnaround is so quick, I will pay most of what I would get for a copy.  I will let you know what that is.

Thanks,

Nan Laporte
