I have been a freelance realtime reporter since 1992 specializing in technical intellectual property, patent litigation, business securities and ITC 337 cases. I cover the Greater Bay Area, and Silicon Valley. I will and have travelled the globe for work - London, England; Seoul, Korea; Hinschu, Taipai. I am a single mom ot two little girls. When I'm not reporting and have mommy time, I am a die-hard season ticket holder for the Raiders, travel for pleasure, play Soccer for an over 30s co-ed league (which I am the oldest at 44 and have been playing since the age of 10) and promote Body by Vi 90-day Challenge Visalus Sciences. My new 90-day Challenge Effective 10-1-12 is to train to do a 30 mile bike ride with Team Driven. Never biked before, but I believe that is what life is all about. Making Choices, Changes and taking on Challenges, to lead by example for my daughters, and to help people in life.

I have not talked to you in what seems ages. How have you been? Yeah, I still cannot run since last Sunday. My shin is a mess. I hope it heals soon or it will be difficult to get back into running.
That was the longest I had ever run, 6 1/2 miles. It was a long the Bay in San Mateo. Absolutely beautiful run. You would love it. Great way to reduce stress, which in this job there can be a lot.
Super, super cute little girl. I can remember when you were pregnant. Time flies, that is for sure.
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving.
Super cute
First of all, ADORABLE children. I never get tired of looking at baby faces, mine are so far past that, that it's fun to see others.
I'm a relatively new scopist trying to basically get my foot in the door in this business. I'm looking to court reporters to find out exactly what they may be looking for in a good scopist. I'm fairly certain that the biggest thing I lack is experience. I have taken online scoping courses for the past 12 months, and have a friend who is also a scopist who has been helping me as well. If you do use a scopist, I would like to know if you would be willing to let me scope a few pages for you for free. It is my hope that maybe I can gain some credibility and real hands on experience this way. I would very much like to be critiqued on my work as I feel this is the only way I'm going to learn and continually improve. I would also be willing to proofread,
but to be quite honest, I have no formal experience in that field. I do consider myself to be quite on target spotting mistakes
and punctuation errors when reading random things, but I don't want to even think that qualifies me as a decent proofreader. Any advice on proofreading would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for any information you may be able to offer.
Sincerely,
Michele Miller
