Oooh... GOOD LUCK and GODSPEED with your speed building! So exciting, isn't it? :)
How did you hear about court reporting? For me, my aunt who works as a clerk in the courts told me about it when I was stuck in community college and about ready to transfer to a four-year. I didn't know what to do, but I told her that I loved English (my major was English), I was working at a law office at that time as a file clerk, and that I could type really, really fast.
So she, of course, recommended that I looked into court reporting... and I'm so glad she told me about it! I can't wait to become a working reporter in the not-too-distant (hopefully!) future! Don't you just love the challenges and rewards of mastering your steno strokes? :)
Hehehe. Enough rambling...
Oh, one last thing! Please check out my blog -- stenonerd.blogspot.com -- where I chronicle my court reporting journey from current 180 student to eventual (hopefully by next year!) working reporter! Thanks in advance!
I truly hope you have a HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :D
