I started my proofreading business in August 2015, and I added scoping to my services in the fall of 2016. I’ve proofed or scoped over 45,000 pages for court reporters. I absolutely love scoping and proofreading. Each transcript is a new story.

I’ve worked on a variety of topics:

Accidents and injuries
Construction
Real estate
Medical malpractice
Divorce
Child custody
Workers’ compensation
Patents
Criminal court
Expert witnesses:
- Physicians in a variety of specialties: neurosurgery, orthopedics, cardiovascular, OB-GYN, psychiatry, and psychology
- Contractors
- Architects
- Automotive engineers

I have previous experience in accounting, IT, and library science. At one point I managed a thesaurus of terminology related to audiology and speech-language pathology. I’m familiar with financial, legal, technical, and medical terminology. Visit my website at https://www.bd-editorial.com/about-bd-editorial/ for rates and more information.
