Charlene, what's up? You don't have to worry about talking to me -- I'm single so you won't cause any problems! Cheyanne is a nice name for your daughter. How old is she, by the way? Don't feel like you're the only one frustrated about school -- we're all in the same boat. I don't want to be redundant, but you can voice your frustrations to me. Trust me, I can take any "dangerous" things you have in store to say. After all, in talking to you, you don't seem scary at all. You're also a good motivator, telling me to get the hell out of school and into the "real world." I need stuff like that from time to time.
Anyway, I hope you have some positive things to tell me but if not, no big deal. I just want to be supportive.

Hi, Charlene. Thank you for that beautiful e-mail. School's going very well for me. You make several good points about school; the fact that it will be a future carrer makes progressing nerve-racking. I have mixed-feelings about being toward the end (I completed my internship and have one more transcript to turn in in order to be eligible to take my last two 225's). Comparing school to going out in "the real world" seems so drastic. But the tuition is enough incentive for me to get out -- after all, I'm kinda getting tired of paying money and am looking forward to making some!
What is your daughter's name, if I may ask? I viewed your photos and she is aborable. Again, I admire you for doing your best to support yourself and her, and just want you to know that you can write to me anytime about anything. Whether you passed a test or feel frustrated, you have my support.

Hey, Charlene, my name's David. I go to the New York Career Institute in Lower Manhattan. I agree with what you posted -- it's all about keeping your sanity! I have a lot of respect for people like you who take on such a demanding course, while at the same time, balancing working and taking care of your child. How do you like class? I know it can be frustrating.

I feel the same way that this quarter was a waste and I think for sure I am going back to campus. I need to set new goals since online didn't really work out and I had all ready missed that one quarter last year, but you know this is something I really want to do because I'm intent on working from home. Good luck Charlene! I was in school forever, went thru a divorce, three small children. I don't think anyone went to school as long as I did! Just keep your nose to the grindstone as often as you can, and when you get off the beaten path, just pick yourself up and start again! You will get through and when you do, you will be making a lot of money!! It's all worth it, believe me! Hang in there! Elise
