Hi Deborah, nice to have a representative from Oz here :)

I worked with Channel 7 out in Perth back in 1998 and for the Olympics in 2000 and I also was a guest speaker at the SRAA conference in Fremantle in 1999.

I made some lifelong friends out there and I think of my times there fondly, and often :)

Thanks for the message - and Happy New Year to you! My family (son Brian, now age 13, and husband Chris) lived in Sydney for 18 months. I worked for the Australian Caption Centre (Nine Network, SBS, ABC & Ten). It was a wonderful experience for us. We visited Canberra and enjoyed it very much - it's a beautiful place! We've been back home in Victoria, British Columbia now for about five years but think often reminisce about our time in Oz. Please keep in touch - I'd love to hear about your work, etc. in Australia.
