Lori, you did not post an email address, and we do not post rates here. I am not sure what you mean by take an ASCII file and scan it. I read the transcripts in OpenOffice and then send back a list of corrections via email. I began this career on August 18th, 1986, so I just hit my 25-year mark. I do a lot of medical and technical depositions.

I am a fairly new reporter in new york and I am thinking about relocating because it is terribly expensive to live here. I hear that south florida is in need of reporters, so I was wondering if you could help me out with some information about reporting there. I just wanted to say Hi and introduce, myself. My name is Joan Hurtis and I live in Tomahawk, WI, (yes, there really is a city with that name.) But I have a soft spot in my heart for Southwest Florida.

I live in the Port Charlotte / Ft. Meyers are from 1982 until1988 and then up in Clearwater / Port Richie area until 1995. And my son was born in St. Pete and raised for quite a while there, so he considers himself a true Floridian. I loved it there, but that was a past life and one marriage ago! LOL

I was back to the area about ten years ago and I couldn't believe the changes, but now I'm sure it would be overwhelming.
