Thanks for your invaluable advice, I can use all the help I can get, just getting started at age 54 in a vocation I always wanted to achieve and excel at!
I will look forward to meeting you, and many others here, at some of the upcoming events over the next few years.
I'm pleased to meet your acquaintance, as a student, and as a small-time closed captioner at church!
I see you are very experienced with various countries to your credit. Question: Are all your deps originating from the USA, and done in English (or maybe a bit of spanish mixed in?), I mean, just how do you get these international gigs? I realize the west coast is proximity to the other asian countries, and, of course, the islands of the Pacific, etc. Being in MIchigan, there is not the same frequency of international deps here, but a few filter through in the network that I have joined.
I'm just about done with the training, at 160-180 now, with a large vocab and software entry system (Eclipse), just wondering if you have any advice for me?
Thanks and God bless you
