CURIOUS CSR RE-ENTERING FIELD

After a five-year break, am re-entering the field of reporting and will be freelancing in Northern Cal (hopefully, if there's work). I hear things have really slowed down and gone are the days of being as busy as you want to be. Would greatly appreciate any feedback as far as whether or not things are picking up, reporters' opinions on the cause of the slow-down (the economy?), if you see a light at the end of the tunnel, and any other feedback you are willing to share. Thanks!

You're welcome. You will be so pleased you called her and fixed that. Happy number writing ;)

Ruth,
Sandi's number is 714-357-8225. She is a great trainer. My numbers are coming up good now. Should have gone and gotten her help years ago. Most things translate well, but sometimes I run into issues. She will refine your dictionary and pull out all unnecessary numbers. Sandi is located in Anaheim, so if you are not close by, I believe you can send her your dictionary and she'll tune it up and send it back, if need be. Let me know how it goes and if you have any further questions.

Yep. I'm all over. I'm not on Facebook, so this is my addiction.

Hi Ruth,

About the LightSpeed ad: I am currently a student in my 200s and I am trying to focus on finishing. My husband bought me the LightSpeed over a year ago thinking it would help me finish sooner -- thoughtful, but I know what he was trying to say but in a nice way :0) We're not allowed to write realtime at school for a test and I still need to see what I'm writing on paper.
Well, I think the machine is a FANTASTIC machine.....but for a professional not a student. It didn't take me long at all to get used to writing on it (maybe two weeks) and it has helped my wrists feel so much better, the touch is spectacular. No keys going down and hardly any movement from my hands at all, I think that's why my wrists feel sooo much better. I LOVE the LightSpeed. I write on it every so often debating if I should keep it or not when I finish school, but hard times have me selling it because tuition is due soon.
