So I'm traveling for the Labor Day weekend

San Jose, California, is a great airport to fly in and out of. They have pretty good TSA, not the zoo that is LAX. It's a fairly easy airport to navigate in terms of finding your gate. They have lots of outlets to plug into for your laptop. They also have free wi-fi. Whoo-hoo. Awesome. They got a good mix of restaurants. Of course, they're all overpriced but there's some variety.

John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Orange County, California is easy to get in and out of. Unfortunately, they lack in terms of no free wi-fi. There's a nominal charge. The terminals are easy to navigate. Not much in terms of restaurants. I think they've got a McDonalds and a Starbucks.

Long Beach, CA (LBG) is another small airport. Their TSA is also very low key. Probably takes you less than 30 minutes to get through. The airport is a hotspot, so there is free wi-fi available. I think there is one food cart that sells, like, muffins and coffee. And then there is a sit-down restaurant. Probably best to bring in outside food. Very easy to drive to and park or be picked up. This airport is so small that it's very easy to navigate and find your terminals.

If you have had a great experience or there is an airport that should be avoided all costs, please share so that we can all benefit.

Happy flying.

The last three years I have always flown Continental in and out of LAX. The TSA there is quick and efficient in my opinion. I always leave early a.m. so it's not too crowded. This summer I flew Delta to Hawaii. What a circus their luggage check-in process is compared to Continental. I am switching back on the next trip I take.
