Help! Help! Help! Diamante/Eclipse pairing

Recently graduated and just got my Diamante. Along with the machine I also purchased the wireless realtime kit. Can anyone please help me figure out how to get my Eclipse program to recognize the writer? I had it working; but when I got home and set up to practice, it won't connect anymore. Earlier today I called Stenograph. They said they could help with Diamante, but know nothing about Eclipse. Called Eclipse later in the day and they said they could help with Eclipse, but know nothing about the Diamante.

Where am I supposed to turn to get this figured out?

Corina --

As soon as you can, you might look into the Realtime System Administrator certificate from the NCRA.

It won't allow you to put extra initials after your name, but you won't have to worry too much about the tech after finishing the class!

Yes, it was at no additional charge. I guess because I had just purchased the Blue Soleil 6. Either way, I'm thrilled I got the wireless kit to work properly. What a relief. And I thought graduating was difficult enough. I now have to figure out technical things? OMG

Hi, Corina.

So they gave you the upgrade for free? If so, good deal!

Thanks for all the helpful advice... Turns out that the software that came with the Blue Soleil wireless kit from Stenograph needed to be updated with a more current version from Blue Soleil's site. I went round and round for days, even had Stenograph try to trouble shoot. Nothing worked. Once, I downloaded the latest version, everything works fine. Again, thanks for everything.

Oh, and there's no reason to pay $30 to Blue Soleil unless you want to use your onboard bluetooth on your computer. If you are okay with plugging in the BT adaptor into your computer, the version you bought from Stenograph is what you want.

I don't think you wasted your money on the RT kit at all. It works perfectly when you install it all correctly, which you'll see in that thread on CRF I did not install it correctly at first.

Try this link to a thread on Depoman for the setup within Eclipse to get the Diamante working, and then install the bluetooth exactly as instructed and it should work. I haven't had a problem since I did it all the right way. http://www.depoman.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3845

Hi, Corina.

First, my CONGRATS on graduating ... and on the new toy!

Next, check this thread over on the CRF.

Unfortunately, you probably wasted your money on the wireless RT kit ... AND you'll have to spend $30 to upgrade to the full version of Blue Soleil ... but it's going to work, and work fine.

Good luck to you ...!
