I bit the bullet and bought the Impression yesterday.  I'll let you know what I think.

Speaking of timely, did you ever move into your new house you bought a few years ago?  LOL

Thanks, Kel. Bummer. One week is not enough time for me; I'm not good at sending stuff back timely. Personal problem, I know. :) Yes, please let me know how you like it.

Well, apparently they don't have a rep in our area, Quyen.  A girlfriend of mine just decided to get one because of hand problems.  I'm going to try hers and let you know what I think.  One nice thing they'll do for you is you can use the writer for one week and if you don't like it, you can send it back and get your money back.  Stenograph would never do that.

Fine with me.  Now we need to find someone to demo it.  I'll call on it Monday and let you know.

Kelli, I was thinking the same thing about someone demoing the writer. If you are able to get someone to come out and do that, I'd love to join, if you don't mind.

Do you know anyone that owns one that could post about what they think of the writer?  I really want to know how much difference there is between this machine and the Diamante.  Don't want to waste five grand to buy pretty much the same machine.  I'd probably need to have someone come over to show me a demo.

With machines going down or motherboards being a problem, I agree having a valid warranty is the best idea.  I can honestly say the we have had no motherboard issues with our Impression.  We do not mass produce our machines.  Each is manufactured per client and then put through three days of testing before shipping.  We don't want problems if we can avoid them.
