JANUARY 2014 -- MORE TO BE THANKFUL FOR

HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!

With all the talk of cold weather & freezing temperatures filling the news, I just have to say how THANKFUL & BLESSED I feel....living in SoCal.

SENDING WARM HUGS, AND MUGS OF COFFEE & HOT CHOCOLATE, TO THOSE SHIVERING IN THE EAST...ACTUALLY ALL OVER THE COUNTRY....

You are a wonderful horse mom.  I wish everyone treated their animals that well.  This is what you should be doing, though.  LOL!!

Thanks, Kelli. It was approaching 35 below here on Monday and Tues. Wasn't too bad in the house.  The horses were wrapped in heavy blankets from their ears to their tail and I was serving warm water and warm mashes three times a day and unlimited hay to keep them thawed out!  Spoiled kids!

Thanks, Denise.  It's around 10 degrees here today.  Feels like a heat wave, LOL!!!
