one of its greatest senators. Sen. Ted Kennedy passed just before midnight at the age of 77 years of age from glioma brain cancer. I know many will probably disagree with me, but he has done so much for this country in my mind.

Please send prayers to his family. Godspeed, Teddy.

Janet,
Sorry I missed your call. I was doing my mom's meds and didn't want to mess up.

Janet, I heard the same thing about him going out of his way to help people. When he flew from DC to Logan, he always used US Air and wouldn't take first class. He would sit on an aisle seat and talk to whoever needed to talk.

He did make a few mistakes, but who hasn't? Who can cast the first stone? I know for sure he made up for it. Helping all his nieces and nephews, all of them, says it all.

Jennie,

Being a local, the TV is full of it. They are having a private wake tonight and all the family is pulling together. As is an old Irish tradition, one member of the family will be up at all times to sit with the body tonight.

I'm really sorry to see him go, too, Tricia. I know he made mistakes, but he did a whole lot of good, too. I've heard all kinds of stories of him going out of his way to help people. I'll miss him.

The Kennedy family must be pulling together for support with two family members gone in such a short time.

I have transcribed Senator Kennedy many times. I remember him as being an excellent speaker, except that he doesn't know how to end a sentence. Man, did he have some run-on sentences.

He will definitely be remembered for many contributions to our society. He truly was a great man. May he rest in peace.
