I love my LightSpeed. I never had a Mira, came from my old Stentura 8000. That being said, there are some people having some problems with their LSs. If you're not a member of www.depoman.com, you should join. Our users' group has settled in over there, in the LSAA (LightSpeed Addicts Anonymous) folder. You can go and see what people have been saying, the successes and problems.
There is a definite learning curve to it. Don't expect to get it and hit the ground running. It takes some getting used to and adjustment to the keys. Almost no one is able to start with it and have a good tran right out of the chute.
Did I mention that I looooooooove my LightSpeed? :) Because I really do. I've had mine since Aug '07, and it would take a LOT to make me go back to a standard writer.
Thank you so much for that offer. One day I might just take you up on it!!! I looked at your page, and it seems that you have an extremely well-established firm:) From looking at your page though, it seems really interesting to see that you might even be more technologically advanced than we are here in NY! I am working very hard so I can be able to travel and work anywhere, such as Ireland:)
I just came across your page and am thrilled. My husband is extremely Irish, and it is our dream to go there one day. I have always wondered what it was like for CRs there:)
Michelle, thanks for the message. Yes, I'd be interested in some work... one problem at the moment is I don't have a copy of Eclipse, working on getting one. But I am available for proofreading jobs etc in the meantime if you need someone.
so how was your week? Houston was a bit slow this week, I'm freelance. The weather is heating up, too, up into the 85 range. It's usually very hot by this time, so we've been lucky. Construction is everywhere and it is hard to get around, esp. since we don't really have any mass transit, it's a mess. They've been talking about it for twenty years that I know about (I was pregnant with my oldest boy, who is 18 now, when Metro held the public study forums and took testimony from mass transit people from all over the world and I worked daily copy on that. ) I figure he got a good education on mass transit before he was born. Either that, or a nice nap! Well, just thought I'd say hi.
Hi, Michelle, it's so neat to have a reporter from Ireland here! I've never ever met a reporter from somewhere other than the U.S.
And did I see you are on Eclipse, too? So am I. TTYL. Your daughter is a doll.

Hello Michelle,
Thank you for your kind comment. I'm still in school, and have a ways to go. I really enjoy this forum. I'm looking forward to developing many new friendships.
