Hi again. I tweaked my settings on CSRNation to not send me email alerts this afternoon, since their alerts for jobs overload my Inbox daily x 50-60 job alerts. I'm doing this because I don't want to have to clean out TONS of those things when I return in a week from vacay. I've had mixed emotions re expiring my license, but am going forward with it, the yea's outweighing the nay's. This is my 50th year; enough! Sounds like you had a nightmare crisis with your computer. Kirk Lewis caters to court reporters and their computer issues. He's at 818.993.8360 in Van Nuys, FYI. Put him in your contacts list in case you have more issues. Hi, Barbara, I'm just today (5/9/19) seeing your note of 4/5/19. I accessed CSRNation so I could tweak my settings to have NO email alerts sent to me (mainly while I'm on vacation in near future.) I'm letting my CSR license expire as of 6/30 and retiring 100%. I hope you got your crisis remedied since 4/5. What was that all about?
hi, Barbara, I responded to your question in your private email that I saved from our 2008 training. hope it's still current/active. I don't see SmartCAT having menu options for saving notes or job files in anything other than .txt or .rtf formats. If LASC wants only the notes sent in, the .rtf way is the only option that I can see for separating out the notes files from the text. My private email had more details. Warren
