I must confess, I’m guilty. Guilty of getting caught up in completing tasks. Guilty of getting so caught up in wanting to check things off my to-do list so I can move on to the next, that I forget to step back and take a good look at the big picture. To be grateful. To recognize that while I “may” on occasion spend more time than I’ll admit researching comma and hyphenation rules, or trying to follow, what in the world did they just say – that I forget for a moment that what we’re all doing in this industry is sometimes not at all easy. We have front row seats to what may be someone else’s worst day. And, yes, there’s also back and forth that could hold its own on a comedy stage. 😊
Throughout it all, I am forever grateful for this amazing community and the relationships I’m fortunate to build in this career. Thank you to everyone for your ongoing support. May your Thanksgiving be wonderful and safe! Tomorrow I’ll be a kid again as I watch the parade, anxiously awaiting the Rockettes, and enjoy a relaxing day. While the days of planning Black Friday shopping, at least in person, are in the rearview, I’ll likely curl up with a good book, and perhaps some proofing.
Thank you to everyone for your ongoing support. It is incredibly meaningful to partner with such amazing people. Let’s wrap up 2025 with a bang!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Best,
Beth

Hi, I'm Beth. Typos have always jumped off the page at me, and I often find myself helping friends and family re-write their resumes, or proofreading papers in addition to my legal transcript proofreading work. I enjoy the nuances of maintaining the integrity of the spoken word. In working with transcripts of all kinds I've found my prior experiences in finance & accounting in the commercial real estate industry are advantageous when it comes to those very technical expert witnesses and property related cases!
My goal is always to partner with you, the court reporter, to help your work look its very best! I provide proofreading services via PDF.

Every Transcript Deserves TLC
Think of me as your transcript’s personal detail detective—armed with a love of language and a passion for precision. As a professional proofreader, I give every legal transcript the careful attention it deserves, searching through each page for grammar, punctuation, and formatting inaccuracies that need correction.
This isn’t about catching typos—it’s about respecting your hard work and making sure it looks its absolute best. I treat every transcript like it’s headed to the Supreme Court (even if it’s just a deposition about fence lines).
Your words matter. Your time matters. I’m here to make sure your transcripts are clean and correct. This will give you the confidence that the finished transcript is flawless.
