Welcome to CSR Nation
Does anyone else have this issue? I have my Diamante set on minus 1 less stacking because on balanced I get too much stacking. So minus 1 less stacking is the best setting for me and I get some stacking and splitting with that. I'm working on a job that was pretty slow, wrote pretty clean. Last time I sent my D in for service they changed the motherboard and it was great for quite a while. I'm getting this major splitting now of a two stroke word coming out in four split strokes. I haven't dropped or banged my writer. Does anyone else experience this, where it's great when you get it back from service and then deteriorates again over time?

Wow, your Passport stacked? Mine never did. But I don't like the Passport overall as well as the Diamante. But what is still strange is that the stacking was so much better right after I got it back last July and they replaced the motherboard. It split but very little, then just got bad again.
The Diamante is by far the best writer I've ever had. The splitting is definitely irritating, but there is an issue with every writer I've ever had. I guess you have to pick what is the lesser of the evils and deal with it. At least that's where I am now. Maybe in a few years I may buy another Passport and see if I like that again. I do know that stroke is even way more amazing than the Diamante. I just had too many other issues. Mainly keys would show up that I my fingers had not even come close to hitting, mainly the D key on the far right side. All the time. You can imagine what that does when you're trying to write RT. Not good.
