E&O Insurance

I was just curious if you all have E&O insurance or have gotten it.  I know there was a discussion I started, or someone did, earlier about this subject.  It ended up costing me almost $800 through Marshall through NCRA.  I thought they were the cheapest, but that was way too much money I thought. 

I had asked on here which is the best/cheapest and through NCRA kept coming up.  I'm not so sure I'm going to renew again.  That's way too expensive.

I think it has to do with how much money "you state to them" you make.  Boy, I feel taken for a ride.

I have an E&O insurance.  In fact, this year I was asked by a couple of agencies to provide proof of insurance.  I get mine through Marshall.  And you're right, it's based on how much you make. That seems high to me too.

My main firm I work for doesn't require it.  There was one agency I work for maybe four times a year that wanted me to get it or they wouldn't use me any longer, so I decided to get it.  Funny thing, though, is I haven't worked for them since I got the insurance.  They've tried, but I'm too busy or at least haven't been available when they needed help.  Guess you never know.
