loaded drivers for digitalcat after your hard drive crashes, simple, I have vista srpk 1

Hi

thanks for all who helped.  I have now downloaded my drivers for the Elan Mira to connect through the usb adapter to my vista computer.  It was pretty simple after going back to the stenovations.com page and going to their downloads and they have the drivers for all the windows and macs and pcs.  You just have to read it and find which one is the one for you.

Yeah, I am now ready to copy my keyboard as you know my hard drive crashed and dell replaced it with a new one.  I had backed up on an external drive.  I now need to find where to get my keyboard copied and sent to since vista service pack two is different than vista service pack 1, actually it a a lot better than Vista service 1.  I don't need to load windows 7.  Yeah......

A lot of my knowledge lacks sophistication.  Out of curiosity, what do you mean by copy your keyboard?

Also, I worked at at huge law firm for two years.  They got Vista when it came out.  It was a disaster.

Hi

I was an official court reporter for over 17years in Dallas County.  I still work freelance in dallas county.  I have a windows 2000 that has my software loaded on there and my keyboard on that laptop has function keys that I use to edit in a fast way.  So copy the commands and save them in a folder on your eternal drive and then copying them onto another laptop that you want to use.  When my hard drive crashed I had to reload digitacat and my amigo audio microphone and in that I had to of course copy my keyboard from the other laptop for my ease in editing.  I use my j, k, l, i keyps for up and down keys for less movment on the keyboard.  I don't do a lot of editing because I have pretty clean notes.  But it does help to keep everything the same.

Thanks

Micaela
