The speaker has no accent, and I still cannot understand him. He is giving a presentation about crimes against humanity.

What is the word right before "elements"?

TIA (thanks in advance) to any and all responders! :-)

Jennie,

I got a lot of hits when Googling 'chapeau elements of crimes against humanity.'

Does this help?

Laurie
Jennie,

I believe the word you're looking for is chapeau. I've posted a site that might clarify a bit more. When you open the site, search for the word chapeau. It's cool/

Wow! That is the EXACT topic I am transcribing, Bubbie Karen. Thanks a bunch!
OMG, by George, I think you are right. In fact, this exact term stumped me before, and I sought help on this forum and got the same response. I think it was from Bubbie Karen who came with the term. In fact, this is the same client I am working for now as I was at that time. I need to write this term on my bulletin board and stare at it for a few months.

I even took French in elementary school. LOL

I have no memory anymore. Man, I hope I ain't getting premature Alheimer's.

Thanks so much.
The discussion must be very interesting. Tough subject globally.

Good luck,

Bubbie Karen
