Does anyone know a lot about adjusting the audio through RealTek on Windows 7?

I right click on the little speaker down in the lower left corner of the task bar and do all the adjustments, but can't figure out the "configure microphone" settings within there.

Right click on the speaker in the bottom right corner, hit on "microphone" and then your microphone will come up.  Hit on which microphone you want to adjust, then hit on "Properties" at the bottom.  Then you need to go to "Levels" and make sure it's turned up to about 85% or so, depending on your preference.  That's the only adjustments I make.  I also disable the internal microphone and use my external microphone as the main one.

Kelly,

I already have my levels up to 100 percent.  How do you disable the internal microphone?

What do you mean "hit on the microphone you want to adjust?"  Hit on where?
