I've always used it for free.. I have the Yousendit lite account.

I split my day into sessions and zip up my audio files so they're smaller.

If for some reason, I have a really huge audio file, then I usually use whalemail, which is also free.

a couple of years ago I used YouSendIt for free too. I just
thought they had started charging, good to know it's still
free!!
